5 Gluten Free Things I’m Loving This Week

This is one of my favourite times of the week (although I should have posted it yesterday). I love looking back at all the yummy things I’ve had this week. When you’re first diagnosed as a coeliac, you can become almost bogged down with the thoughts of what you can’t eat anymore…without thinking what you can eat.

1. At the top of my list HAS to be Delicious Alchemy. Those products where delicious. Absolutely gorgeous!

2. Honest Burger. Almost every time I visit my gorgeous Boyfriend in London, we always go to one of two restaurants. Honest burger or Belgos. This time we were fancying a burger. Beautiful Burgers, unbelievably tasty fries and crispy onion rings. What on this beautiful can be better than that? I can’t think of anything. Look at their allergen menu…perfect (The burgers are GF with a GF bun..£1 extra).

3. Serendipity. This is a cute little vintage tea room in Sunderland, its so cute! And I only just found out about it this week! I can’t believe it, they stock gluten free bread, and serve jacket potato and sometimes sweet potatoes. I had a sweet chilli mango chicken sandwich, it was soon good.

4. Pulled Pork. I made some delicious pulled pork for my boyfriend in his slow cooker. Served with sweet potato fries and homemade apple coleslaw.

1 shoulder of pork

1 bottle of Jack Daniels BBQ sauce

2 shots of bourbon

1/2 tablespoon of garlic puree (or some fresh garlic if you have it)

1 teaspoon of paprika

salt and pepper to season.

{Bang it all in a slow cooker. Cook for 8-12 hours. (We did 9 1/2) I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E. }

5. M&S two can dine for £10. Steak, Potatoes, soufflé and a bottle of wine. Bought we M&S peppercorn sauce and brussel flowers. Perfect Sunday Tea. So cheap…especially when you’re in London.
