Thank you to Mom’s Gluten Free Nom’s for nominating me for this award…I’ve never heard of it before but i’m very excited to be involved. So this is how it works…
1. Nominees must link back to the person who nominated them.
2. Nominees must answer the 10 questions given by the nominator.
3. Nominee must nominate 10 other bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers. (To find this, go to Reader, then on the right side, click the Edit button on Blogs I Follow; then click on a blog, and it should say how many wordpress followers that blog has.)
4. Nominees must create 10 questions for the new nominees to answer.
5. Visit the nominees blog and notify them about the nomination.
I’m always excited to learn new things about the blogging world and this seems like such a wonderful idea! Its nice that the community wants to reward new bloggers with fewer followers, hopefully helping them to increase their followers and spread their ideas across the globe!
1.What is the most challenging dish you’ve ever made and had turn out perfect?
I don’t think anything has HAD to turn out perfect, but probably the most challenging thing I tried to make was mince pies. They were awful.
2.Share one absolute kitchen disaster with us?
I tried to make my boyfriend a Gluten Free Giant Carrot Cup Cake, but I grilled the cake for around 15 minutes before I realised what had happened. It wasn’t the best cake.
However, I did make it again and it was bloody lovely! We ate it all in like two days! :0 Try it?
3.What is one pantry staple you can’t do without having?
Chopped tomatoes! I use them for pretty much everything!
4.What is your favorite thing to eat?
I would have to say that eggs are my favourite food. I love breakfast! Scrambled eggs, poached egg, dippy egg, fried egg, eggy bread, omelette! I honestly love eggs.
5.Chocolate or Vanilla?
Always vanilla! I’m not really a fan of things that are flavoured like chocolate…because its never ever as good as real chocolate!
6.What is one thing that makes you smile every time?
I know its a little bit cheesy…but seeing my Boyfriend always makes me smile. We live quite far apart and have spent a lot of our relationship long distance. After two years of uni together, he graduated (and I’m still here) and he is now back at home! So having him come to visit me is one of the best things. Especially when he brings me beautiful flowers like these advent Lillies 🙂 I miss him everyday he isn’t here. Especially when I have to watch Homeland all alone…its so tense I can’t handle it!
7. Are you hosting Christmas or traveling somewhere else?
Me and my Boyfriend are spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at my house then Boxing Day at his house 🙂 which will be super lovely!
8. Why did you start your blog? What was that “I’ve gotta’ share this moment” for you?
I was struggling to come to terms with my Coeliac Disease, and found comfort in other peoples blogs. So I decided to start my own, and share my experiences. I never really mind whether people read them or not, its nice for me to a have an online log of my experiences and recipes (I regularly google my recipes because I can’t remember them!). My first post was a Gluten Free birthday cake I made for my little sister…its safe to say it was a bit of a disaster.
9.Name one food you absolutely will not eat and tell us why?
Gluten? I guess that doesn’t count does it?? Hahaha 🙂 I don’t like cabbage or parsnips!
10.Sports or Books?
